Rev limit with Tune??
I have mine at stock. I could change it, but why? Don't what to blow the engine. I did remove the speed limiter.
I have had the car up to 155 mph. That WAS fun! And yes the hood did the wooble. HAHA. But never opened.

Mine was set at 6700 rpms and the car had some HP gains still realized at 6500 rpms so he set it just over that. I never go over 6200 rpms anyway...................(no need to
as this can happen anywhere above 3000 rpms anyway>[sm=gears.gif])

Hey Brian my tuner/installer swears that the motor can handle the higher RPM's and he does it often at the track 50+ runs and blew the motor trying to push the psi to 16 with meth inj and the meth failed and the motor blew at the 1000' mark. The motor was stock with no internal upgrades and running 550 RWHP and he attempted to push it even more and well failed (had nothing to do with the rev limiter)......trial and error left to the guys that can afford it
. You live and learn and I see no problems with 6700 RPM rev limiter.....besides just because it is set there doesn't mean you have to go that high before shifting.....

Ya I figured you could go pretty far into the red without really hurting the engine. I'll most likely set it at 6400 cause my new cams op range goes to 6400. I know it can prob go higher but theres no use risking it.
