With Flowmasters I would go o/r H pipe. Even tho an o/r X might give you a few extra ponies.

If you're keeping the cats I'd say get the X-pipe. If you're going to get an O/R pipe, keep in mind that it is more difficult to get a good sound using an O/R X-pipe. I'm running an O/R X-pipe with the stock mufflers and below 2500rpm it sounds like someone is shaking maracas behind my car.

I have BBK shorty headers, O/R Pypes x-pipe, and Flowmasters and I love it. I get compliments everywhere I go. Actually one of my friends just ordered the same set up for his car.

I've had both an O/R H pipe (stock headers) and now have a catted X with my ARH Long Tubes. The O/R H sounded way "meaner" and much lower tone, but it trumpeted more at 2500 rpm.
The LT w catted X is almost as loud, but more exotic sounding....less muscle car. It does sound better at high RPM though...as the H pipe sound falls flat at high RPM.

I have not got one yet but I am leaning towards the Pypes catted x-pipe, as it is supposed to come with two straight pipes toswapout in place ofthe cats, if a little more noise is wanted.

I had an O/R H with Flowmasters and hated it. I changed it in less than 2 weeks. I have Macs now with the O/R H and it sounds a heel of alot better.I will be getting a Prochamber soon though.
