Has anyone had any rattling noises under the dash? Or, at least it sounds like it is coming from under the dash. I read another thread about rattling around the door, and I have that at times as well. I'm going to work on that tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with rattling noises around the dash area.

i have a rattle somewhere over there i have no idea what or were it is tho if you find it please let me know man

I have a rattle around the dash area as well. It only occurs when I'm stopped for awhile. For example at a light or something. Never when I'm actually driving. I'm not sure what it is.

 

The left front edge of my dash was hitting the windshield put a little piece of foam tape on it rattle is gone.

 

i had that rattle for about 2 hrs


then it went away after i rubbed this snake oil on it





























but seriously, it magically went away by itself

 

i have a rattle that randomly occurs behind my passenger side dash where the airbag is located. im scared to go looking for it because i dont want to get a bloody nose and two black eyes from setting off the airbag

 

Dash rattles are always a nightmare. Sometimes, taking the thing apart will only result in something else coming loose and taking it apart isn't easy.As the car gets older, it will exhibit more and more rattles and cold will aggravate the situation. Most people just live with it. If it's not something you can reach easily, it'll end up driving you nuts if you can't learn to ignore it.
