just got my black grill overlay (billit) with new emblem today. the emblem has two pegs in the back, but no other hardware. how do you secure this to the grill? im sure you could just glue to the horizontal bars, but there has got to be a "cleaner" way, no?

 

mine bolted on there should be a missing part i would think

 

what brand of grille is it? pic?

 

Is it the pony emblem? Don't those have the two-sided tape that peels off?

 

its a shelby gt grill from shelbyperformanceparts.com, direct replacement grill, black insted of chrome. the pony on the stock grill had some glue, and a u shaped bracket that connected to the rear of the grilll that connected with the pegs, the new emblem did not come with a bracket of any sort. the order form says "barrel nuts not included", i dont even know who would carry these, advanced auto looked confused

 

People at (un)-Advance Auto always look confused when I go in, especially when I need something for my 66.
