They are not the easiest to drive with all the computer junk involved.....holding rpms...hard to gauge throttle pressure....weird arm rest position that inhibits comfortable shifting. It's as if the car companies are trying to make a manual "easier" to drive for people who can't drive a manual. The computer does too much thinking and not enough listening. But...I guess this is the way cars will be from now on.

The exhaust sound is a major issue. It is very hard to make these cars sound good. I like the way mine sounds, but it will never compare to a New Edge with offroad prochamber and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

The body style is nice, but it could have been better. At some angles the car is ugly and resembles a Honda. (like the angle pointing toward the car from the right rear diagonal.....)

TPMS stinks.

Tachometer and speedometer are too far recessed and are difficult to see with the dark background.

 

ok yea ive heard alot of complaints about the guages, ill have to go out and drive one i guess, and hell ya ur new gts will whoop my 94 in all categories...what is the best exhaust setup on these, and ya my buddy has a 03 gt, upr offroad x and flowmaster american thunders, car sounds excellent, but i have to say a good sounding stang is a must, id prob get the ford racing shortys, cat back and possibly a bassani mid pipe, ive heard a stock gt with frpp cat back and the tips were gorgeous and so was the sound.

 

^^^^ I think it would be pretty close there as well or even the newer gt by a bit. I raped a 98 cobra(pretty sure its 98) that has a few bolt ons a. my 07 pulled crazy hard even when stock especially on the highway before my gears, now it just pulls liek snot everywhere,gotto love it.

I had a modded fox back in the day and I love this car so much more. I dunno how people say they dont sound good and why they want them to sound like a older moldel. yeah older stangs sound sweet but Ill take my slp and o/r x anyday before old sounding stang.

 

I Love mine!! Black 06 GT,(NEVER seenrain)polished all the time!I have a Breenspeed 92 octane tune, K&N CAI, Flowmaster American Thunders, I found some leather conditioner that turned the leather jet glossy black, 30% tint on the windows and the interior upgrade makes it look quite ominous I am told. I shimmed the throttle and took 1/2 of travel out of it,(measured at the end of the pedal)breath on it and the RPM jumps 250. A nice touch was the PioneerP-8000BT matching blue lights. The plates say "WARP2"I get a lot of positive comments on the car as a whole, the women love it! (my wife is not too fond of that part LOL).

I have had my GT less than a month now- it's the best car I have ever owned. I have been driving for many years and have had some really nice cars... This beats them all hands down. It's fun, it's fast. it handles well and it gets noticed!!! You will never regret going this route.
