Steeda CAI Loud?

Steeda CAI Loud?
I just installed a new Steeda intake both the filter and elbow, are they normally loud? . My C&L intake I could hear but wasn't this loud, I drove it a bit not getting any codes, runs good, just seems extremely loud, can anyone else chime in?

check for the obvious.....lose connections,etc.....you might be hearing escaping air

Uh, I don't hear mine. How could one possibly hear it over the pullies/belts, fans,clickings and all the other things going on all over the engine???

I love the sound theCAI makes. It reminds me of the old days when the secondaries would open on the 4 barrel carb!! Alot of us would take the top of the air cleaner lid off and flip it upside down just so we could here the wosh. [sm=itsok.gif]
