Default Aux button/input

Hey, my '06GT has the Aux button on the S500 radio but there seems to be no socket to plug anything in. Whats the point?

The new 09's have an aux jack in the center console for an mp3 player. As far as ours goes, i have no facking idea!

you need a PIE adaptor for this. Ford did not include the connections for the Aux input in the wiring harnass on the 05-07s. On the 08's they have an a connector.

here is a link to the PIE adaptor

ya my 07 had the aux plug in the center console. But once I added my aftermarket radio. I just ran a new line from my radio to the same spot in the center console with a 8mm jack aux plug.

Best buy is such a ripoff. $50.00 more than crutchfield? Try radioshack or somebody like that it'll probably cost half as much.

If someone here wants it, I've got an extra PIE adapter that I'd be willing to part with. If anyone is interested, PM me.
