Electric Window Drop
I seem to have an issue where every once in a while my driver's side window seems to "bottom-out" when I take it down. Also - sometimes when I go to put it up it will drop down and I need to try again. Any suggestions on what might be the issue? Has happend since car was purchased and is still under factory warranty - but problem is intermittant and don't want to leave the car with the dealer just for them to tell me couldn't duplicate the issue.
Mine also bottoms out on the D and P side occasionaly too for no aparent reason.
On a side note, I live in a gated community with some speed tables. It's just habbit that makes me do it, but.. when I hit the "auto up" button for my windows and I'm going over one of those F**king stupid speed tables, my P side window will automatically reverse and drop down. The next 1x or 2x I push it, it resumes to normal mode.
Again something out of the blue.

Mine does that when I hit a hole in my driveway and am rolling up the window at the same time.
I'm wondering if there is a safety feature buit in, like if the window feels any amount of extra resistance, it backs off. I haven't tested that theory yet.

There's a sensor in the motor drive electronics to detect a spike in current draw which normally signifies that some Dick had his heador fingers trapped in the window as it's coming up. The Motor immediately stops and backs down to let the aforesaid mentioned Dick remove his head/digits.
The current sensor is quite sensitive so when you're driving over a bump, the window can become momentarily heavier as the car rebounds up from the bump, this also draws more current and the window thinks " ah... Dick alert" .
When both windows are being ran at the same time, it makes he sensor even more sensitive.....
See, it's all normal
