I agree, these do sound repetitive, but they are so fun to read to see the excitement that everyone is experiencing when picking up there car. Hopefully I will be posting a "Got Mine" thread in 2-3 weeks. Congratulations, and have fun.

 

I hear ya on this one, I am going to be picking mine up from a dealer in Central Washington State and driving it to Reno, NV. I'm going to be paranoid the whole drive home about smacking a deer or something like that, LOL

 

Got a GT. Redfire CC, Dark Charcoal int., Ltr trimd seats, Auto trans., painted alum wheels, active anti-theft, IUP, Shaker 500. Will post pics soon. I was able to use the X-plan. MSRP was 27,845. X-plan 26,359.41. After taxes, registration, etc. bottom line was 29,032.95. Ordered 2/10. Was told by the dealer when I picked it up that in early March Ford put a stop on accepting the X-plan for this car. He also told me that he ran out of allotments in mid march. So to those that are still waiting I wish you the best. It really does come cown to dealer allotment. The memo the dealer showed me from Ford stated that if they cant fill the orders with 05's it will be an 06. But I doubt if you will be dissapointed.

 

I was hoping for the X PLan myself and when the salesman told me they don't honor that on this car and this car only, I thought he was blowing smoke. I thought he was just trying to make more money, then I started hearing it all over. It sucks, but I feel better knowing I wasn't being lied to.

Notice how before you got your Mustang, you wouldn't drive to the corner store for even some medicine you really need, but now you'll look for excuses to go to the corner store in the next town over with no hesitation. DAMN! What an addicting car!

 

Same here, I was hoping to use the X Plan. But around here it doesn't apply for Escapes or Mustangs unless they are already on the lot.

I was able to get the X Plan up here in Canada. I order on Mar.29 and had no troubles.

 

I told you guys that he is still on his high. Let the man enjoy his ride, cool off then post the pictures. At least he gave us the low down on the details of the car.[sm=alcoholic.gif]
