So I am deployed right now, but when I get back to the statesI think I will put about $1500 into the stang.

Right now it has full exaust with long tubes/SLPs mufflers, Mac CAI w/Diablo tuner, 4.10 gears...

I am think about an aluminum drive shaft, a pro 5.0 shifter, and a throttle body. I would like Heads and cams, but thats too much green.

What do you guys think? Will that help my combo out? Thanks.

 

it will definately help out. you could get stage 2 comp cams and a and throttle body. you would terrific gains. what kind of long tubes do you have? do you have slp loudmouths?

 

I have Mac LTs, but they are more like 3/4 length, they are not as long as some companies. I have the Loudmouths, they are awesome! I had the Mac mufflers, they were not quite loud enough...

 

i would get the DS and a shifter but i would stay away from the throttle body i herd alot of probloms with it

 

I also would go with the DS. It's below your budget and will give you 2 10th's at the track. Stay away from the TB. Or just save your money a little while longer and get blown.

why not do the ownership mod? pay off the car a bit more

I will own this car for a while, so I am not in a hurry to pay it off. I would rather make it a bit faster. I know it sounds silly, but...

Is there anyone with issues with the Throttle Body? I believe I did hear of someone with an issue before...

 

Get suspension mods or a body kit.
