Default X Pipe Vs. H Pipe

No one is answering in the V8 section, so here is my repost:

Please forgive me for not knowing, but what are the advantages of changing to the X Pipe?

Is it worth it?

I'm only getting this second hand but the performance shop I use dyno tested the X vs. H pipe and only got ~5 rwhp. It comes down to: is the cost worth the hp increase? Other may have different results based on the pipe and tune.
