Default better stability

Hey guys,

i've noticed that at high speeds i would like my car to have a more 'planted' feel, like my WRX.

do you think LCA brackets, sways and UCA will do it?

OR instead of all that, wheels/tires, right now im on 255/50 kumho ecsta SPT which grip nicely but the sidewalls are SOOOOO flimsy.

I'm used to low profile bridgestone RE01Rs and hankook RS2s on my WRX, so these tires feel like mush to me.

thanks!

Well firstly I would say that you need to stop comparing disimilar cars. Once you get doing that, you'd be complaining that the ride quality isn't as good as your dads Lincoln next.................. lmao

Relocation brackets wont do anything for your more 'planted' feel. The biggies are dampers and springs, which you already have. The UCA may help a little. My guess is the issue is either adjustments on the D-Specs or your tires.

After I put a GT500 air splitter on my car I could tell a big differance in how it felt on the highway. Before the front end felt kind of unstable and easily pushed around by the air wake of other cars but now it feels solid and even big trucks don't bother it.
Plus it's a cheap and easy mod probably the best one that I've done so far.

My 275's definately make me feel more "planted" at 100+ MPH runs, even with the stock suspension.

Primarily dampers.

Then wheels that are more like 9" wide for those 255-width tires. I'm guessing that you're still running with the OE 17 x 8's. Not much you can do about the lateral "softness" of that 255/50 other than to go wider with the wheel.

After that, maybe springs and/or possibly sta-bars.

Get a big ACME magnet and put it under your Stang.
It will stay planted. Beep, Beep.
