I guess GM should also get punched in the face for designing the Corvette exhaust that way too huh? :-/

 

To the Op, I plan on keeping mine and doing what I did this last time. Keep it until I can afford the higher end model and move up when I'm ready.

First mustang was a 00 V6, this one is an 08 GT, my next one I plan on getting what ever is the highest model (comparable to the GT 500) in a few years. If I do it in 8 years again then two of my three should be out of college so I will have plenty of cash for just that ;-)

 

I don't know anything about Corvettes. I can't say that I've ever heard any praise for their sound. But.... Mustangs are known for their sound. Ford knew what the S197 would sound like. They knew they were throwing away a good thing. To me, that's a mistake. The sound of a car is just as important as a good looking paint job or nice contours.

 

You guys honestly think the s197 sounds bad eh? I guess it's hard for me to understand. It sounded like hot sex compared to my 1990 civic.

im goin to be keeping mine and modding the sh*t out of it; the sites will still have the s197 parts

 

I will keep mine and mod it as $$$$ allows, the only way I would stop modding mine and put $$$ into another Stang would be if they come up with a Cobra (or GT500) in Mystichrome. Anyone with me on bringing the Mystichrome back for a limited run (like they always have been??)? I think in this body style it would look better than EVER!!

 

I got the 427R body kit finished up on it today.. i picked it up from the body shop and it is amazing on the looks.. I def keeping mine.. i have def made up my mind after warranty, putting it to the rear wheels and making it motor, N/A.. Thanks for the feedback all.. Keep it coming..
