Does anyone know the exact weight difference between the 05-06 stang compared to the 07-09 stangs? I know that the 07+ stang have more steel to accomodate for the gt500 engine.

 

really? i didn't know the 07 gt would way any more then the 06gt.. hmm interesting i'd like to know the difference too

 

I think the only differences in weight are due to side airbags and extra junk like that. I dont think they touch the frame, shelby does that himself

 

there was a post on these forums last year about this. I think the conclusion was 53lbs..im trying to use search to find it but not luck at the moment.

08's and 09's have more sound deadening than 05-07's.

 

WTF are you talking about? Shelby does not touch the stock GT500's from the factory.
They only have his NAME on it. GT500's do not come from a shelby plant.

 

Ok that came out wrong I meant that they are modified by SVT and back by SHELBY. The KR is modified in vegas. Try not to be too much of an ***
