I've been looking for a used 05-06 GT and I thought I would shoot an email to a Ford dealer for grins to see what they had for left over 08's. Well, this place offered $21264 for a deluxe GT with 500 Shaker, 5M, GT appearance package. The price included a $2000 rebate from Ford and another $2000 for owning a 95+ Ford (which I don't have - I have a 68). So, even if I didn't get that $2000 rebate for owning a 95+, is $23000 + taxes& tags still a reasonable price for a basically stripped GT?

LMFAO! What does owning a 95+ ford have anything to do with it? Are they gonna give you at least 2k trade in on any 95+ ford? Tell them you will do 22k OTD. You may want to wait for the new mustang release before you buy a 08. Its like 2 months away. Let us know what happens.

 

Doesn't sound good at all to me. I think you could get an '07 with some decent mods for that if you hunt around.

 

Keep hunting...at Royal Oak Ford in MI they are giving 08's away for 20K and change and the MSRP was 28K and change....you can find better!
