Default Ford Lawsuit...Finally at the End!

I hate Ford, plain and simple. I have had a Mustang since I was 16...most notable a 1993 Cobra w. 5k and the plastic on the back seats. I can't stand their disconnect from the dealer to the Corp office....i refuse to take my car to the dealer...for anything...

I a bought a 06 GT in August 06...found out the whole drivers quarter was painted....I sued my dealer and Ford and finally they want to settle in Sept. Over 1 1/2 years!

Keep you posted....I told them 6k out the door...

Can u say GT 500 front clip and blower!

I'm sure some poeple in the late 70's asked people "Why do you have a 69 Boss Mustang with only 5k miles on it?"

I'm confused you sued the dealership for not disclosing that information?

On what grounds did you have a lawsuit? Lol I hope I'm not the only one that isn't understanding why you sued...?

Sorry, thought it was clear.

The driver side quarter to the middle of the door had been worked on...enough where they took out all the glass to do the work. Now the paint is peeling along with the clear amongst other problems..they refused my warranty claim.

This was a "brand new" car.

Depending upon the amount it cost to fix it, they should have been required to disclose that to you. That amount varioes from state to state though. I'm sure that's why they finally had to settle. Good for you, as that's just plain dishonest on their part.

I can sympathize with you on not wanting to take your car to the dealer. I have a few TSB's I'd like to have addressed before the warranty runs out, but I loathe the fact I need to have it in the shop for them to work on it. I wish they would just give me the parts under warranty and let me replace them myself!
