Clay bar that puppy! It's not hard and you will come to know every little part of your car. You'll also love how it feels.

Several companies make the clay bar Don. I'm familiar with Meguiars. You use it with the quick detailer spray. Takes paint overspray, tar, bugs, tree sap, etc right off. Makes the finish smooth as a baby's bottom. Great product to use before you wax car.

Have not parked under any ash trees at all and have not had any adult films or stars on the car....yet! I'll wait for a couple of washes and see if the problem continues. If it does, then I'll use the clay bar solution.

Great link, thanks for the info. I don't think I have bought so many car care products in years, but I'm enjoying my '05 Red Fire Vert so much I want it to last.
