I'm not too worried about the CEL coming on. I have an SCT Tuner that I'm gonna get updated by them specifically for my car, and I can turn the light off with that.

WTF? If you have an SCT tuner, buy some tunes from Bamachips or Brenspeed and wake up that beast! The CEL won't be an issue then...

I haven't priced mailorder tunes lately but I want to say about $35-$50. You'd have to contact Brenspeed or Bamachips on that plus using a 3rd party supplied tuner. But I'm sure it's doable. It would be some really cheap HP, probably about an additional 10-20. It will surprise you.

How exactly did you afford all the mods if you can't even buy a tune for them? This just seems ridiculous to me! You might want to plan your mods a little more carefully next time.

How can he afford it???? Who cares what you think, maybe something came up and he is short on money what ever it is it doesn't matter.
Ridiculous??? What I think is ridiculous is you pissing all over this thread and others like you who do the same thing on this site. Can't even buy a tune??? Not one of his mods requires a tune. Why don't you plan your post a little more carefully next time before you post because, NO ONE GIVES A SH*T WHAT YOU THINK.

lbballin9, Go to Bama or brenspeed and buy a single tune. You will most likely be spending at least $50 for a single tune. The best bang for your buck would be to do what howarmat said 3 tunes for $115.

Good Luck.

Jmose...what you just said to that idiot was awesome!!

Chain...If you have to know about why I didn't have money to get a tune dumb sh** it's because I just dropped 800 on headers and a mid pipe, and had a one week vacation for me and my girls one year. Thanks for trying to make me look like and idiot though

Yeah, longtubes+install ain't f'in cheap. I can tell ya. You're probably around 300whp give or take 10 or so which won't make that much of a difference anyway. I think people make too big of a deal with the dyno numbers thing and nitpicking whp numbers. Hell, I had to add the edit 295whp BEFORE A GOOD TUNE to get people to leave me alone in the street/strip section when posting some of my street kills. Dyno numbers will fluctuate day to day and climate will influence them. It's a good baseline but good driving can make up for a lot. ;-)
