Default Bodyshop question....

I need to get about 3 things or so done at a local bodyshop but I got to thinking. Since puting on/taking off the fender, side skirts and rear bumper is so simple, I was wondering would I be able to give them my fenders (already painted just need the emblem holes filled), new Saleen sideskirts, and a GT/CS bumper and have them being able to match everything perfectly? I'd rather do it this way and not have to worry about some *** at the bodyshop driving my car around or doing burnouts. Problem is, I don't know if they need to blend into the hood for the fender holes to be covered.

Any tips?

Have them paint the parts and if the color is off a bit, take the whole car to them for blending.
I have had a pretty good luck with those Mustangs when it comes to color match...
Only had trouble with two... One Windveil Blue and one Tungsten for some reasons.
Put the rev. limiter at 2500rpm so it'll stay clear of donuts lol.

Good luck.

Agreed.

Take it in and let them work on it, or it won't look right.

Shop around and get refferances. If you remove / install after paint and damage it in the process (especailly the install) then you will be hating life. Take the car to a shop that is used to seeing sporty cars like yours and the temptation to wear out the rubber wont be there. Also keep in mind that for the small job you are looking at, there is no need to remove body parts and risking a mis-alignment of panels and again maybe a scratch. Good Luck.
