Default Most Annoying Thing...?

Ok, so it's quite obvious that all of us here are Mustang enthusiasts and we love our cars.
That being said, you can't possibly love EVERY aspect of your car, so this morning while I was cleaning out the inside of my car I was thinking about a few of things that really annoy me. They are:

1. My floor mat NEVER stays in place. It always pivots (around the little hook thing) towards the clutch pedal. So every time I get into the car I have to twist it back so it's straight.

2. The back window is impossible to clean. I'm 6'4 so folding myself up to get into the backseat is hard enough, let alone reaching back and trying to clean the corners of the back window!

Other than that I don't think there is anything about my car that really bothers me...

What about everyone else?

The clunky driveshaft is the only thing that gets on my nerves. My floor mats stay in place. I think american muscle sells custom floor mats for like 60 bucks which might help you out a little with one of your problems. Plus they come with a set for the back seats too! The rear window is a pain to clean, but it really shouldn't get dirty because there is nothing back there to touch it. Occasionally, one of my friends will touch their head to the rear glass, but its all the way in the front where its easy to clean.

A clunky driveshaft is a sign of loose hardware.
Get under there are tighten up the mounting
bolts to the correct torque specs ASAP.
See THIS POST on the subject

The water thats present on the floorboard after any amount of
rain is the most annoying thing.
Right up there with the rubber flaps that wont return to their original
positon when the parking brake is fully released.

I had the same problem with the floor mats. I bought the positive retention floormats from American Muscle and have not had the problem since.

I love my car, but the most annoying thing to me is resetting the seat and mirrors every time after my wife drives it. This sounds trivial, but her BMW has memory presets that will automatically adjust the seats/mirrors for each person at the push of a button. Great feature.

So easy to get in her car and push the button for my presets. Wish the Mustang had it.

I wish it had a gear indicator (for the automatic) in the dash, too.

Sometimes I wish it had a trunk release and an auto start like on many new model cars but I can always add that myself

+1

I have to agree with thenatural, I wish there was a trunk release button inside the car somewhere...other than that, I love my car!

The noises. Rattles. Buzzes. Clunks. Whatever. This car has them. Somewhat to be expected but it's still a little obnoxious.
