Default Cervinis Side exhaust on a GT500, Improvement or not

Just looking around at some of the mods available out there for GT500's and was curious as to what some thought about the cervinis side exhaust for the gt500.

I mean I am on the fence on this. I think the one they have for the regular s197 gt's is bad as hell. but to me the look of the one for the GT500 is iffy..its like the lines dont flow as well? especially in the back valance area the lines are very sharp edged whereas they are not as so with the gt500....not sure if I would even consider doing this but wanted some opinions. I am also looking at POSSIBLE hood options....this is all linked to my want to have my vinyl stripes removed then have PASCAL (he does not know this yet, LOL) Paint them back on...any input would be great...

if only ford was selling the rear bumper they used on the terlingua it has the gt500 style rear bumper with the inserts filled since the terlingua runs a borla side exhaust setup
I say go for it your car would look&sound even more amazing

I like the idea of the side exhaust a lot. The black side skirts on the GT500 (and also the V6) make the car look really skinny. The Cervinis side exhaust beefs the car up and pulls it lower to the ground. Definite improvement.

The rear bumper I don't love, but I could deal with it. Maybe you should check out some other rear bumpers without the exhaust cutouts. I know Cervinis has another one for the plain C-Series kit. It's similar but I think the edges are not as hard back there. Maybe you could take the stock GT500 bumper to a shop and have them fill in the exhaust cutouts somehow?

I like the side look with the pipes etc...but hate the rear end covers that come with the kit. I will probably stay as is....I want to definitely have the stripes removed then painted on. Also the mirrors I want to have finished and painted as well. I kind of like the ABS black chin spoiler and side skirts for one reason, no chipping due to road debris and with the 255 on the front and 285 on the rear you constantly can hear the little stones kicking up. I would be afriad how bad the side skirts would be if they were painted unless they came out wide enough where debris only hit the underside. My 05 gt CDC chin spoiler and side skirts definitely suffered road debris chips due to this....thx for the opinions guys...

I agree.
The rear bumper piece is too much.
The side exhaust should make things interesting...

I can't say that it looks bad.
We don't have a lot to go by, since very few folks do appearance mods with these cars.
I'm not against though.
