Default REMOVING HOODLINER

whos done it? i know theres been a million threads on it. before i do it, i just want to confirm its just sound deadening. also, how to remove it? do i just pull the pins out?

im pretty sure its for if you get a fire the plastic clips melt then the liner smoothers it so its safe to take off if you want

i took mine off about a month before putting the new hood on....noticed nothing different at all about noise or heat

Remove the plastic push pins. Thats about it, I remove mine when I go to the dragstripm mayby it helps---mayby not, but i do it anyway.

I a;ways put it back on because the paint is either really thin or discolored in the center of the hood
