Default autobadge 50% tint question

I know tail lights, when lighted by turning on lights or touching brakes, are visible through autobadge tint.

I have a question about reflectors. Tail lights have reflectors built in. Let's say at night your lights are off - your tail light reflectors are still visible when a light shines on them. Is this still true after tinting with autobadge 50%?

I'm double-checking legality before I buy these for my car in the state of Mississippi. There are laws about reflector visibility. So I'm questioning if the reflectors still work after tinting.

Most tail light tint is illegal and is for show or offroad use only.

You are tinting over the plastic so you are reducing the amount of visible light that can be seen, reflected or not.

i just moved out of Mississippi and i never was given any problems because of my tinted tails. I used vht niteshades but i didnt go overboard with them. just knocked off some of the shine so they matched my stripes. the reflectors still work. i took in to the dealership for a free oil change shortly after i tinted them and 2 of the techs came out and asked me where or how i did it, they loved it.
