I'm leaning toward getting the pypes muffler deletes for my '07 GT. The car is stock other than this. I need some opinions.

 

Do not get it.

Go to muffler shop and have them weld in some nice long tips in place of your mufflers. It's much cheaper.

 

That's also an option. But should I get the muffler shop to clamp them on instead of welding so they can be returned to stock if needed?

 

just buy some boomtubes or slp's very easy to install and put back to stock if need be and both are great sounding depending on what your looking for..

 

Yeah, get the shop to weld nice tips to some curved slip-fit pieces so you can clamp them on just like a muffler.

i enjoy my boomtubes, but the squeal and rattles are driving me nuts, its almost embarassing to drive sometimes, and the exhaust shops i talk to say theres nothing wrong. i may have to just get some custom made pipes bended and put in

Shop did mine, no rattles, no poor fit, no high price. And they are loud. Tips are 4" X 18", clamped on.
