Did you guys remove the little retainer clips from the stud that are put on from the factory? They're used to hold the rotors in place during assembly. It's VERY common for the tire guys to leave those on. That WILL cause the problem you're having. This issue has come up on here several times, and 99% of the time, those clips were the problem.

he mentioned that the tire place removed four of the clips when they installed his 20"s. and although the hubcentric rings may not solve the problem, i still think they're worth a shot. i got mine from the distributors i bought my am wheels from. try calling cruizin concepts, or maybe even a place like tirerack, and see if they'll send you some.

most aftermarket wheel and tire shops can measure for the correct hub rings to fit your needs and have them within a week, if not less. I would just call around and ask.

they will be specific for each "wheel" (ie: the hub rings that are used on my rims may be wider than the ones that are needed for yours)

Well the tire guy RE-balanced all four wheels and test drove the car before calling me to pick it up and so far everything is perfect, on the way to work at least. He told me there was also a large nail in one of the tires on the side facing the car (so I would be unable to see it). I don't know how the nail could affect the driving so much, but whatever the case, everything is working now!

Ditch your current wheel tire guy for
someone who knows what they are doing.
That guy is letting 20s out of his shop uncentered?
Idiot.

What do you mean by uncentered? I asked the guy about the rings and he said they would only be necessary if I were using wheels not made for this car and according to CruizinConcepts, these wheels were produced SPECIFICALLY for the 2005-2008 Mustang.

The O.P.`s vehicle may or may not be in alignment, however, contrary to popular belief that is rarely the cause of vibration. One is geometry, the other rotating mass.

Ask the qualified tire dude if he tightened up your lug nuts in a
star pattern or simple ran them on with a 250 Ft Lb impact wrench
one at a time.
