THAT looks like a Matchbox car.. haha

And... with a T top along with those lines it strongly remindes me of a late 70's Nisson Z260, which came with Factory T's by the way.

In the "model".. it doesn't look too bad... but if you want to let the air in.. by the ULTIMATE Sunroom... a CONVERTABLE... they don't make sunroofs ANY bigger!

I love the shaker scoop and chin spoiler! And I wish I could see the rear window louvers better...

Oh, the T-Top makes me think of Smokey and the Bandit for some reason. 10-4 good buddy...

I read somewhere that Ford won't make a coupe with a sunroof or T-Top because it will "cannibalize" the sales of the vert. I'm pretty sure this came out of a motortrend or road&track or something of that sort. Apparently the vert is a big money maker for Ford. I've seen a few late model stangs with the moonroof put in and i think it looks like crap becuase none of them followed the lines of the car's roof. They just seemed like generic moonroofs definitely not made for the car.

If I remember right doesn't the convertible come with reinforcements behind the rear seat? In the article that is in one of the new magazines I believe the writer said the vert was stable but not as stable as the coupe. Cutting a hole in your coupe's roof might not hurt ride stiffness but I'd hate to have compromised roof integrity in an accident.
Another thing- if you wanted a real sunroof it would lower the headroom, right? I noticed this in my Protege5. The model without the sunroof had more headroom.

I had an '84 with T-Tops. Damn things leak and it was a hassle to remove them and store them in the back. Convertible is the way to go!!!

Yea.. T-pops are nic.. but too much of a pain.. I had 93 nissan 300Z TT and I had the tops in the back and one day I saw some train tacks in the road.. so I instantly got the vision the the general lee flying in the air.. and I nailed it over the train tracks at 70 mph!! I didnt know there was a good size incline on it and I caught allot of air... The whole car landed hard as hell, on eht the t-tops flew from the back all the way up front. It hit me and it hurt.. but the excitment of fling I was laughing so hard I was crying... when I got home I looked at the other t-top abd the class was smashed.. it cost me over 300 to fix... then I was crying again

I don't like the T top but this would be pretty tight.

WTF Mate!! For some reason the preview still shows the T top.

I had a '77 Special Edition, [Bandit] Trans Am with T tops, and they leaked like hell. After a few months during the winter under a car cover, the velour seats had MOLD on 'em! However, I kinda like the way that 'Stang looks with 'em. BUT they would have to be car color when the panels are installed. AND they would have to curve to match the arc of the roof. So it would look like a normal coupe with 'em on, and you could have all the fun of the T tops with 'em off.

Closest thing to a moonroof I've seen for the mustang is put out by CDC. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/637.html
