Thumbs up Thanks for the Help!!!

I just finished the install of my Hurst shifter, and I love it!!!!
want to thank: pascal, deekum, howarmatt,warmachine, and everyone else that pm'd me advise....the install took me an hour and was very easy....it's not notchy, loud, or anything that would be a con.....the shifts are smooth and the car feels 100% better.....i would advise anyone to go with the Hurst shifter,FTW....

It's good to hear you like it. I also just installed the hurst in my mustang. In matter of fact, just did it last night. I love it as well. It is 100% better than stock.

Glad you took our advise and got it... was well worth it for me.... and couldnt possibly be worth the extra for the MGW...

I had a Hurst and swapped to MGW after struggling with 2nd gear over and over. Once I swapped out my trans fluid to royal purple synchromax I may have just liked the hurst more. That fluid made my synchros like butta'! They're both the best shifters made for the S197, specially the new billet model hurst.

I have tried both and I'd have to disagree, MGW is worth every penny. The hurst is still a good shifter though.

Well put.
I'd say that the MGW is the best quality one out there.
I prefer the Hurst because it has a race fell to it.

Even though some folks have had problems with the Hurst, it's still a good quality one IMO.
I've installed a bunch of them and none came back to me for a fix.
Can't be a coincidence...
