Default Need help guys... problem with Xcal2

Hey guys well I was installing my 93 race tune and followed the steps and half way through putting it into my ecu the xcal2 went blank and now I cant start the car. It didnt finish installing the tune and erased the other one in it... anyone know how to fix it... thanks guys

p.s. I searched and found one thread stating to check fuses so gonna go check and sorry for not using the search first kinda spur of the moment but if any other suggestions throw them my way...

Well found out it was a blown fuse sorry for the thread but just in case it happens to someone else it was fuse number 8 on the passenger side footwell 10amp fuse... I guess the search button does work...

BTW: It's always fuse #8. This fix should be made permanent...inside of a sticky so somewhere.

Fuse #8 is for the OBDII port power.
Just to make it searchable.
This info and more is also in a little unknown
publication known as the OWNERS MANUAL.

Thanks for the 07 manual. I had the 05 version but it might be the same I guess.

Do you have any aftermarket electrical components on your car? I found that if I leave my Sirius receiver powered up that it will blow the fuse everytime I plug in my Xcal. If I turn the receiver off, then no problems. It only took 5 fuses to figure it out!
