Front Jacking/Jack Stand points
if you mean under the oil pan, i've also
heard you can use a telephone book and
because if deforms a little, it may not put
a crease in the pan....
i haven't tried it personally, but it sounds
reasonable....

Where Pascal shows is where I put my jackstands, I just couldn't get my floorjack back that far and actually crank it to lift w/o hitting the side skirt. So I rolled up on the ramps, then slid the jack in and cranked it about 3" more and put the jack stands there. I guess in the future I could use that little crease where the side skirt is that they say you should use with the stock jack for changing a tire. I used 3 pieces of rubber taped on to avoid metal to metal damage on anything.
Finally got the Pypes O/R H in and it sounds good! Its loud and lopes quite a bit low but a t WOT its like a stock car
I'm hoping some of the hollow metal sound goes away as they break in some.

I wouldn't advise jacking up from under the pan, man.

Helps alot especially when you have to lift or support an engine without damaging it.
