Default How to remove roof?

Does anyone know how to remove the roof? I looked in the shop manual but I couldn't seem to find the section on it.

Shop manuals don't show sheet metal work.
If you plan to remove the whole skin, you're in for a job!
Rear glass and windshield have to be remove and of course, head liner.
It's a job for a pro.

If you wanna put a glass roof, it's a lot easier.
You just need to cut a big square hole and leave about 2 inches all the way around to support the glass.
Just take your time.

Hmm, the only guidance I've had so far was from the replacement part guide. It basically just showed the two parts under it. I was hoping it was just a part that was bolted on. Oh well, I don't REALLY need to take it off for my project, but it would sure make life a hell of a lot easier

A roof is part of the structure of the car as well.
It couldn't be bolted, you need strength.

That's why convertibles are reinforced... to make up for the weakness from the lack of roof.

A T-Top is strong enough but I'm not too sure about the look of it on our cars...
