Default I need your opinions!

okay, some of you already know that i have been having some problems with my current headlights (the halo is out on the passenger side and 2 of my LEDs are out on the drivers side)....

because of this, i think i have decided to go back to the stock headlights.....

my friend mentioned that if i went back to stock heads, that i should black them out and that it would look good on my car....

i have also been planning on blacking out my stock corners and reinstalling them as well....

because of this, i took my sig pic and blacked out the heads and corners....

what do you guys think of the look?

all input it welcome...if it looks like sh33t, let me know...if it looks good, let me know...

the reason i am considering stock heads is because i dont want to spend another $200 on another set of aftermarket heads if i am going to eventually wind up in this position again later....

here is the new pic...compare to my sig and let me know what you think....

I think you need to check with you local law enforcement agency on how dark you can go. You may end up getting pulled over because they would be illegal. It looks good dark, but you need to be careful.

i DID think about the ford HID's, but dang dude, a grand just for headlights? i could get big brakes for that cash lol!

ya.....i was using term "blacked out" loosely...sry for the misconception.....i actually meant "smoked out" which tints the lense some and makes them dark but not completely blacked out.....after they are smoked, you will still be able to see the round chrome cone a bit but its just not as noticeable.....same thing for the corners....maybe a shade or 2 darker than your ordinary smoked.......

how about that?

well here is the thing..the only way ill go back to the stock headlights is if i smoke them....the reason for this is because i have the headlights where the bulb is covered by a black metal cap....on the drivers side, all of the black paint has flaked off of the cap and is now covered with a slight look of oxidation (rust) with a dark orange tinge to it...

with this in mind, would an hid kit be of use to me with them smoked or would it be defeating the purpose?

i could replace the drivers side headlight with a replacement but i will have to shell out $50 and take the chance of the black eventually flaking off again.....

what do you think?

the stocks look alot cleaner to me, so just smoke em haha

i had the covers on mine and that worked awesome cause when a cop did stop me i just told him i would take them off and did right in front of him and went on with my day,

i would suggest though at night, dont drive with smoked heads cause i did and i could see barley but not nearly enough
