do yall think an upgrade from 1999-2004 gt to the s197s would be worth it? i just dont think the performance upgrade would be worth it...what do yall think?

considering i dont really like the appearance any more.

 

You don't like the appearance of yours or the S197 anymore?

If you like the look of yours, go with a terminator. If you want something newer with a better interior and like the styling then go S197.
I've never driven any other mustang so I wouldn't really know how to compare the driving experience.

I love mine.
I wish I could afford an S197 and Terminator though.

The S197 is a step up in acceleration, handling, chassis (ridigity), ride quality, braking, interior, steering...well just about everything. Don't get me wrong, I like the new edge stangs but it's a 20+ year platform.

 

i drove both and i think the s197 is a much better car

 

After driving my 05 over my 03GT I was hooked. Everything about the 05 was better, the acceleration, braking, handling, interior, and the overall feel of the car. Once you get you wont miss your New Edge one bit. Add a tune and a CAI and it will put an even bigger smile on your face.

 

S197 interior. Not saying its amazing but it looks nice.

 

with full bolt ons im probably a tad faster than s197 stock right? maybe i should go test drive one

What do you run in the 1/4? In the winter, I ran the below time bone stock, however, the avg time about 13.5.

Most people are running high 12s w/ intake/tires/gears/tune.

I'll just got a jlt intake/bamatune and I'll be aiming for 13 flat.
