Default clear heat blocking tint?

I know some one who has a product like this installed for $1000. It's clear and makes the inside of the car not become hot. I can't seem to find what the tint is called though.

I want to install it, does anyone know what i'm talking about?

You can get window film in percantages of 70 and higher that block out 99% uv but it is still not going to block out all the heat your hoping for. The amount of solar energy rejected is not as high as the darker films.

I install window film and if you you think 1000$ is acceptable your out of your mind. Tint install on a mustang should not be any higher than 250$ max. Usually 175-200$.

Why would you not just go with a regular film?

I just put the 5% back on the front of mine. I am thinking about the windshield strip but I really don't like the look. I really don't like installing them either haha.

I LOVE THE DARK! I suppose legally some states have very very strict law's maybe that's why.

I assure you that the tint exists. It's $1000 for materials not installation. It blocks out infra red heat but not light.
