wow... you have all those mods (CAI, Longtube headers, etc...) with NO TUNE???

get a tune asap!!! it will surprise the $hit out of you. your car is running dangerously lean right now and the tune will correct that. tune+your mods=fast car.

I have the same problem. As my coworker, who's been racing since he was 14 (he is 39 now and he still is), would say "NOS is the best bang for the buck out there no matter what car you install it on." Which is true, but the whole idea of refilling the bottle is what's driving me nuts. Don't have much experience with it, but I was told that as long as you stay away from wet shot it's pretty safe for your engine
Also go here:
https://mustangforums.com/forum/gt-s197-general-discussion/87809-basic-mods-for-your-05-09-gt.html
and read post number 3. The guy says he lost 26 HP because he did not tune his ECU after installing an intake. That might be your problem. Get yourself a tune and go from there.

Just want to comment on the nitrous, but I have never seen a dry shot for 05+ GT's, only wet. Anybody ever see a dry kit?

If you are going to do it, be prepared to part with about $7 Grand. I have a Whipple HO kit. After the kit, the install cost and the dyno time, it was about 7 Grand.

I hate to be Donnie Downer, but in the economy we are in right now, I would suggest holding onto that 7 Grand unless you are sitting on some wealth.
