with my enlistment coming up and my enlistment bonus getting closer i started to look at cars again. and i cant make up my mind for the life of me. im thinking either a 09 gt, 2010 gt, and once i saw the price a challanger srt. i was in love with my 07 and ive been kicking myself in the *** since i got rid of her. i love the styling of the 2010 but oviously havent seen the price yet. and the challanger is just nice all around, i priced one out for 42k. now what do you guys think. get another 197 and mod it to blow a challanger out of the water? get 2010 and mod it or just get a challanger and mod it lightly?

well, its a subject of hot debate, but ive seen video of a stock srt-8 challenger running a 13.8 sec. 1/4 mile. so the s197, theoretically does not need modification to beat it in a 1/4 mile from a dig. roll starts may be a different story. but if you have some extra cash, go for a base model GT and send it to steeda for the Q350 package. go to their site and check it out. but its cheaper to build it yourself if you have the means to do so.

bottom line is S197 FTMFW!!!!!

1 bad stang -what ever gets done to what ever car i have ill do. imho steedas and roushs are way to overpriced for what you get. id rather do the work myself. its fun to.

mustang3gt07 - i like knowing im the only owner of a car. and after what happened to the p.o.f.s evo i doubt ill buy a used sports car again.

True, thats why you just run a car fax. I'm the second owner and the person that owned it before me was a older lady. Car has only 12k miles on it and was 100% stock when I bought it. She even gave me all the orig. paper work. Theres good ones out there, you just gotta find them. I had a 2007 GT that I sold to get my cobra. I just didnt like the ride and feel of the s197's. To me it didn't really feel like a mustang since I owned a 04 mach1 before my s197.

 

well if thats what you want to hear... DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!! but really, ive had several cars and the stang is by far my favorite.

 

car fax was clean. it just wasnt tunes right and was running to much boost. no gauges when i got it. and then one day the piston decided it was time to divorce the rod and move out of the block.

 

you guys may want to kill me for saying this... but wait and get the new camaro ss!
