Isn't each Diablo married to the cars computer? Will the one you are buying from this guy work on your GT?

 

I was kind of thinking that same thing

 

Before I bought it I e-mail DiabloSports. The original owner needs to re-install the Original Factory Tune back into the vehicle, then it can be used in another vehicle. Don't buy a used one unless you know the person or you can witness the re-installation of the original factory tune yourself. I heard of someone that bought a used one avertised in one of the boards and got screwed. Couldn't use it since it wasn't done and the seller disappeared.

Yeah, I got a used SCT Xcal and a JLT CAI from a local guy for $250.00. Even though he had re-flashed by to stock, the tune would not load on mine until we took it and hooked up to the computer and ran the software to "unlock" it. Once that was done, everything went as planned.

 

Always nice when you can find the rare deal like that!

 

I have never seen this before. How difficult is it to use? I assume this will increase horsepower but by how much?

 

Does this mean that us San Diegoans can't share one?

Anyone know how to get around the feature that prevents us from sharing it?

 

Ya I have bundled the price of the predator when other products are purchased. Thing about products like Diablosport predators is the market is so saturated with them you really can't make any profits off the thing anymore. I generally sell for 290.00 when purchased with a Cobra r hood or anything else. I'm sure alot of places do that.

 

I am sure that there is a hack out there... or will be soon. But then again.. I already have a tuner so I guess it does not matter.
