Talking Bamachips tune is in!!!!!

Well, after about a short 2 week wait, I finally got my X3! I requested the 89 Perf, 91 Torq, and 91 Race, and flashed her with the 91 Torq for starters. And wow, she woke up! She's pretty responsive, and I've noticed she revs up more before the initial "launch". My wife and I were on our way to a foster parenting class, so I didn't have a chance to go full throttle, because she has a bad back, and a couple of times the car launched from a stop, and f*cked her up lol. But I'll see where she's at tomorrow on my way to work fo sho lol.

I just got my JLT cai and Brenspeed tunes.

I can't understand why Ford didn't do this in the first place with the Mustang.

I haven't lost any gas mileage and the 91 & 93 tunes really woke the car up...feels like a totally different car...I have to relearn how to drive around town without leaving rubber at every intersection

I remember when I first installed my Bama tune. It was like I bought a new car (even though mine was only a month old!). I have an auto, so I remember how awesome it felt the first time I got on it and it chirped second and third. Congrats and enjoy!

I, too, remember the first time I started my car and took a drive after installing the tunes.....Doug can't get enough praise for the good work that he does.

The bike looks real weird in your signature. Is it photoshopped?

LOL!!!! I noticed the same thing, and was looking at that pic thinking I would ask if its chopped.. The car looks a little crooked on the trailer too. hahaha.. that is funny..

Yesterday I had the mustang out because it was a nice day and I was pondering how nice the throttle response is since putting the tune in.. I have had the tune in for about 6 or 7 weeks and I still marvel at how much difference it made. (mine is brenspeed)

The factory does not tune like this for a few reasons: the shift points and torque reduction are desinged from the factory to go easy on the transmission (on autos anyway), the advance is very safe from the factory to make sure that under all circumstances there will be no ping, and also these tunes turn off the adaptive learning on the wide open throttle, so from the factory if you are on the throttle too much it will actually tone down the power and torque a little to help save the trans and engine. This may be a sports car but they still need to keep the lawyers happy by keeping liability issues down as low as possible.. if they tuned these aggressive and the engine, trans, or rear ends were not lasting as long they might have to issue recalls or build them better to begin with..

That's it. I see the box now, lol. Thanks, I knew something was there, but couldn't figure it out. I thought it was just the top half of a bike in the picture.
