What does the message center consist of?
I will be ordering an 06 GT in a few weeks and was wondering what I will be missing by not getting the mycolor option.I like the mycolor, we just cant stand that fugly aluminum dash that comes with it.

 

Interesting, I find the aluminum dash really appealing. The MyColor system is wicked-cool too The message center is an electronic readout on the bottom of the right gauge. It gives readout of various data like average MPH and MPG, miles left on tank, gallons used, trip time, trip distance, etc. It's controlled by buttons on the center of the dash. It is very accurate, I've checked the MPG against my spreadsheet and it is dead-on.

 

That's just depressing as hell. I was hoping it was off by several MPG instead of me getting 14MPG.

 

That's not a problem with the MPG gauge... that is a problem with your right foot.

Remember those commercials witht he guy sitting in the doctors office getting examined, and his right foot was hulk sized and made out of lead? Some car commercial, don't remember the make/brand.
