Default Engine Swap Ideas

Ok so I came across some shortblocks from MMR (modular mustang racing) as I was looking for a new filter for my CAI from them and they seemed to have reasonable prices. I was curious about where you guys think would be the best place to buy a engine to replace my V-6 from. I was looking for something under $4K. Thanks

good engine and low price dont really go together... your best bet is to get a gt take off engine.

The only problem is your going to need more then just a shortblock. You're going to need heads, wiring harness, possibly a new DS (I've heard the V6 DS is weak), new rear end, etc.... Engine swaps aren't as simple as they used to be....not thatb they were easy back then either!

Short of buying a front clip from a totalled car (that's what I did for my GT500 motor in my GT) it just won't be cost affective.

I think your best bet is to drop in a Twin Turbo and enjoy!
