Default cervinis lower side scoops installation

hey I just picked up a pair of cervinis lower side scoops used off ebay (113 bucks already painted my color!). Anybody have any tips for installing them. It looks like I'm just going to get one quick shot at it to make them align perfectly. Thanks.

I just played around with setting them against the side, untill I was happy with how they would be placed. Then I peeled off the back and slapped them on.

Lay them down against any contour first then finish applying them.
Maybe pull the protective strip off just a little leaving the end hanging
out. Place the bottoms against the body line with the peeled tape there. They should kinda stick there with the minimal amounts
of exposed 3M adhesive. Step back and eye them while there is
still a better chance of repositioning one or both before 100% of
the adhesive is exposed.
Finish by pulling out the tape strips one at a time until they are all out.
Firmly press in place and allow the adhesive to 'cure' before driving.
Also use some adhesive promoter on the scoop surface where the 3M
tape goes if the scoops dont come pre-applied with 3M tape.

Everyone is right. I want to add to be sure that your weather is within hi 60's or greater to insure best bond on a clean surface free of wax ect...

+1 alcohol is what I've used for all my double sided tape applications.

Isopropyl alcohol at 70% concentration is called rubbing alcohol.

Use the 90% alcohol instead of the 70% RUBBING alcohol.
There are less residues whan it evaporates.

Inky Thoughts

Maybe some adhesion promoter from 3M as well after the area is cleaned with alcohol.... adhesion promoter is my friend (considering this car is held together with 3M tape)
