So I was talking to a friend the other day and he said that an Electric Water Pump will be horrible for the street. He said if it was a track car yeah he could see using an EWP but for the street it would be horrible. He wouldnt (or couldnt) tell me exactly why.
So my question is will this create horrible driveablility or what? Cool for street use too?

Do the Electric water pump and do a fan relay ground switch. Don't waist your time with a relay kit for 40$ and wire it dirrectly or just buy a relay from AutoZ-hoe and be done with it.
They are measured in hour life not miles so to compare manual and electric is kind difficult but I will say I have ran Mezeire Electric pumps on 3 cars, two of which was when I lived in the Mohave and i've never had an issue. They are good for about 8-11rwhp RPM depending which is pretty outstanding.

Unless used for the track, the money can be better spent elsewhere. With that being said, I installed the Meziere w/p and it was a pretty easy install. Ran the car to 220*, shut it down and ran the pump. Took 20 minutes to get to 180*...pretty quick.
I then wired the rad fan to a switch and it runs with the key on ACC along with the Meziere and I/C pump. Again ran the car to 220* shut it down and ran the pump and fan. Took 7 minutes to get to 170*.
I lost a pulley on the way home from work one day and trashed the tensioner and of course the belt. The Meziere got me the additional 10 miles home!!!
Zero DD issues and got it from Brenspeed. Get the relay kit, makes it for a simpler install.

Have one on mine have had no issues to this point but only been running it for a few months. The shop did warn me or try to warn me that if the car was a daily driver it wasnt a great idea. Sounded like it was an issue with how long they last but since I dont drive mine much and am in the process of converting it to more of a track car I am not worried. It is good bang for the buck for the HP gain claimed as long as it will last a while.
