yeah its just 2 different points of attachment for the shifter arm and the arm itself is slanted making 4 different positions; high forward, high back, low forward, low back. Im short and like a stiffer shift so low back for me. the adjustablility is nothing like the mgw but i swear i like it better then the mgw. i drove one about a month ago and it felt like stock to me. (maybe it was how he had it set) but aftder driving the pro 50 I highly reccomend it. and besides have you seen it? its a friggen TANK and also you can install it without dropping the driveshaft. you jus have to take of the linkage arm off and connect it to the front and then link it to the shifter base from under the car and then make the rest of the connections. It was harder to install then the hurst due to the size but the whole swap took only 2 hours.

yea you dont have to take the d/s off for any shifter you use,, i have my mgw set at 10 throws and it def doesnt feel like stock maybe the guys you tried had it set to soft
