Default tuning up the boomtubes

so i decided to clean out the boomtubes, more than the usual weekend cleaning. i've had the boomtubes now for over a year and i was thinking it's getting a little quieter, more noticeable on decelleration, it wasn't getting that loud popping when you let off the gas, it was more of a smoother roar than a pop, which may be better for some, but i missed that popping.
so on to the cleaning. i usually just clean the outside and inside to the baffles, but this time i shot a crap load of carb cleaner into the baffles to try and see if i could get them clean. after shooting the carb cleaner in there i drove to a car show maybe 5 miles away. the next morning i took a look at the boomtubes and they looked all dirty, so i guess the carb cleaner worked. then did the usual cleaning inside and out w/ some chrome cleaner. heres a couple pics of the morning after the carb cleaner then after the chrome cleaner. and the popping on decelleration came back too, so maybe the cleaning rejuvenated the old boomtubes back to their original sound.
