Hey guys,

I posted on here yesterday just introducing myself as a new member. And today I'm looking at what to buy. From lurking around on here I remember there is a discount code for americanmuscle so if anyone could share that with me that would be much appreciated! Aside from that what do you guys think of the JLT CAI and the SCT X3 Powerflash tuner combo from american muscle? I have a general idea of what brands are well known but not really an expert. The SCT tuner is recommended on the site but maybe you guys can suggest something better? Thanks! Oh the CAI is $209.00 and the tuner is 379.00.

Go with a tuner and CAI combo from either Bamachips.com or brenspeed.com if you have an auto go with Bama but if you have a 5 speed choose either or... you will like their tunes better than the ones from American Muscle, and for the discount code go to the vendor section look for AM and PM AMNICK, he will give you the discount code....

i'd get it from a company that does tuning like www.brenspeed.com , they are probably the most popular one on the forum. maybe check out JDM too or bama chips

So I'm on brenspeed right now. I've seen a few people with the C&L. Not really sure what the difference between the racer and street are?

You guys think it's worth the extra 60 something bucks to get the street? Does it really make that much of a difference?

Metal retains heat longer then plastic. You will get a cooler air charge with the racer. + 1 on Bama & Brenspeed
