FR500C Front splitter
Anyone know where I can get my hands of a FR500C front splitter? In this months 5.0 Mustang they have a lot of pictures of the FR500C and it looks like a CDC aggressive chin spoiler and a carbon fiber splitter where installed on them. Anyone know if the splitters are available as a kit?

Well I think I found the kit for the FR500 but it is $1250.. They are very proud of it.
I have found several carbon splitters that are universal in style, but most are intended for rice cars. Could anyone measure your CDC chin spoiler and tell us the width of it? Also is the CDC normal and or agressive spoilers "flat" on the bottom?
Items such as this may work?

Eric3d, yes it is flat on the bottom but when it folds to go under the car there is only a 1-2" lip that goes under. The splitter would not have much to attach to the lip with, and will utilize the support rods but needs something to support the piece that goes under the car. APR has done a lip for the CDC Aggressive spoiler I have seen it on this forum on someone's ride. I contacted them it was around $300 or so. It's not on their site, you gotta call

Do you want a splitter for performance reasons or do you just like the look of it? There is a reason the Ford one costs so much (well besides being its from Ford). Splitters serve two puposes on a race car: increase the front down force and decrease & streamline the air getting under the car causing lift at high speeds. Proper splitters are shaped, like an airfoil, and very strong to withstand a couple hundred pounds of downforce. Ford developed it in a wind tunnel, thats not something your average aftermarket supplier can say.
