that kit from the link looks intresting i will most probably be getting one but it says it requires a 26t what? flywheel or clutch or both? where to get them from?

So what actually broke on your stock tranny? input shaft?

 

your gonna have to cut the shaft IIRC

 

Im not sure yet, i wont get to work on the car until tomorrow night. Im guessing the input shaft did break though.

 

I use the spydershaft, and it works with the setup, from what 3 others have told me that have done this. There will be about a 1/4inch taken up by the slip joint. If it looks like its more than that though, ill just take it off and buy a different driveshaft.

 

A 6060 for $800? DAMN! I've been looking at prices of stuff for a possible auto->manual swap and I found from newtakeoff dot com a GT 5 speed for like $699 I believe. Hell, I'd be better off getting a 6060!

 

Hmm, if my aluminum DS I got from Brenspeed wouldn't work with the 6060 that would suck if I did swap.
