Default Shift Light. Please help fast.

Please help me really fast. I'm installing the raptor shift light and I need a source of power for it. I'm following taco bills write up and he says

"A good source would be the large plug that plugs into the rear of the Shaker head unit. A simple wire splice or t-tap will do just fine."

What plug is he talking about. There is a plug there that has like 50 million wires to it then there is on that has like 2 and another one that has like 6. I know he says the large plug but what wire....???? any...????

Thank you for any help.

There are a couple 12V power wires that are back there you could use. There would have been one that was connected to the receptacle that you can use i think even. Other would be to the other switches and the radio too.

Thanks Howarmat. Do you have any pics or like a diagram of where the 12v wires are?

TB said not to use the power wire from the 12v plug for the shift light.

you can hook it up to the red wire coming off the coil pack in the engine bay, since u already have to use that green wire (if i can remember the color) anyway.
