Default Big 3 upgrade question...headlight dimming

I can't seem to find my post on this topic from a few days ago, so I lost the link you guys gave me.

Anyway, I must be blind, I have no clue where the "engine block to chassis wire" is on our cars. I see the "positive battery to alternator" and the "negative battery to chassis". Anyone got a picture? Or at least lead me in the right direction?

Check it out this is what I did. You don't have to remove and replace. You simply just add on another ground. Except note I made a mistake when doing mine i ran the engine ground to the battery. You want to run the engine ground to the chassis.

Engine ground to chassis.
Chassis ground to negative battery
Batt pos to alternator

Where is the engine ground located?

Ok,, I'm confused. I just read that the alternator case is usually used as the engine ground. So I need to run a cable from the battery positive to the alternator, and another cable from the alternator case to the chassis? Can the same location be used for both the negative battery ground and the engine ground?

so if I have 4 gauge wires for my amps. Do I use 4 gauge wire for my big 3 upgrade? It won't void my warranty will it?
