Performance transmission?

Performance transmission?
I'm in the process mapping out all the parts I want to use to build my F/I- stroker but for the desired power levels I want I cant find a transmission that is going to take abuse. The 6060 from D&D performance is the strongest I have found and is rated at only 700 hp atleast thats what the sites says. Are they underating this trans or is 700 as a max is what is recommended and safe? Can someone show me the light for a manual trans that is going to be able to take 700+ at the wheels?

a 6060 should do fine. my buddy did a swap in the spring, had the internals polished and cryo treated to add some strength, he makes 620 on pump and 700+ on race. no issue with the tranny, the first clutch (GT500) was crap and he went to a Spec twin disc and he's all good

You are the stupidest person that has ever posted on this forum.
First off to get what i'm about to say it's important to know gearboxes are rated in torque not horsepower.
The DEFINING characteristic of the sequential gearbox is that it is extremely weak when compared to an equal gearbox, the reason being is that it has to have two clutches in the same space where only one would normally be, and every part has to take up less compared space.
Ferrari, Maserati, Lambourgini, and BMW all had to COMPLETLY redesign their engines in the last 10 years, specifically to make those engines weaker because the most powerful sequential during all that time could only take 400 TQ (sequentials cut 1 second off the 0-60 time though so they are always worth it for speed).
So now BMW and Ferrari etc engines all have 550,600,650 hp but always 400TQ to allow for the sequential.
The sequential used for races do not use synchros meaning they slam each gear into the next which shakes the whole car like any racing transmission. They are also loud. Normal racing manuals have the same lack of synchros but because they both don't have them the trade off which favors the sequential almost not there. A race manual shifts in 60ms and the race sequential shifts in 10ms. Street sequentials shift in 50ms for comparison .
Yes.
The 6060 is one of the most powerful transmission made for any car ever. It's good for 1200 Torque which has been proven with hard abuse and that's all without modifying the transmission. It costs 5k installed. The 6060 commes in 3 stages of parts quality, but the strongest versions are the only ones sold for the Mustang (Saleen(viper) 6060 (better gears) and GT500 6060 (cheapest)).
the 4r70 has a lot of drive train loss and isn't very reliable.
