Default Shaker hood question.

Im goona get the shaker hood system but i dont know if i should use it with my stock hood or should i get the CDC Foose hood with the cut out for the shaker. What do you guys think?

if you can afford it, I would go for the Foose hood. I have several done with that hood and they look awesome and very unique. The key difference (other than obvious good looks of the Foose hood) is that the stock hood requires the use of a trim piece for the hood hole, where the Foose one does not. You will also need to have the holes filled on the stock one if it came with a GT scoop as I believe the 07's + have a wider pattern that is outside the required hole.

I hate all shaker threads, especially those with pictures

Why? Because I want one soooooo bad, they look fabulous.

With the Whipple sitting atop the motor I'll never have one though. I'd have one if I could mount it somehow, I know it wouldn't function as an air intake, but who cares.
When I was at CDC I asked about the chances of them making mounts up for blown motors but there wasn't much interest. boo-hoo
